[What is Citrus Aurantium]

Citrus aurantium L, belonging to the family Rutaceae, is widely distributed in China. Zhishi, the Chinese traditional name for Citrus aurantium, has long been a folk medicine in traditional Chinese medicine (TCMto improve indigestion and help stimulate the Qi (energy force).

[Function]

1. Have the function of antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, hypolipidemic, vasoprotective and anticarcinogenic and cholesterol lowering actions.

2. Have the function of inhibiting following enzymes: Phospholipase A2, lipoxygenase, HMG-CoA reductase and cyclo-oxygenase.

3. Have the function of improving the health of capillaries by reducing the capillary permeability.

4. Have the function of reducing hay fever and other allergic conditions by inhibiting the release of histamine from mast cells. The possible activity of hesperidin could be explained by the inhibition of polyamine synthesis. (bitter orange extract)

The owner and founder of Aromara

Founded the company Aromara in 1991, with the intent and desire to be engaged with the sheer nature. At that time, aromatherapy and essential oils have been booming in the UK and English speaking countries.
She joined her own profession of Master of Pharmacy and all the available literature on aromatherapy and essential oils and created the first line of essential oils Aromara. There have begun a beautiful and challenging adventure of dissemination and Implementation of knowledge, cognition, passion and resources to support health care.
Over several years, from the field of esotericism and New Age, Aromara finally managed to set roots of aromatherapy in Croatia as a serious discipline and life-style.
Aromara builds the foundation for all future businesses, educational centres and individuals who will practise aromatherapy in Croatia. Today, Croatia is one of the leading countries in Europe (omit the UK) by aromatherapy professionalism, number of educated aromatherapists and integration of aromatherapy into daily life.

1991. osnivam tvrtku Aromara s namjerom i željom da se bavim isključivo čistom prirodom. Od svih mogućnosti, najbliža su mi bila eterična ulja i aromaterapija, koja je u to vrijeme doživljavala svoj procvat u Velikoj Britaniji i zemljama engleskog govornog područja.
Spajam struku i svu dostupnu literaturu i kreiram liniju eteričnih ulja Aromara. I tu počinje predivna i izazovna avantura širenja znanja, spoznaje, praktičnih mogućnosti i podrške zdravlju. Tijekom nekoliko godina iz područja ezoterije i New age prozračnosti, aromaterapija u Hrvatskoj putem Aromare počinje se ukorjenjivati kao ozbiljna disciplina i life-style.
Aromara gradi temelje za sve buduće tvrtke, škole i pojedince koji će se baviti aromaterapijom u Hrvatskoj.
