[What is Epimedium?]
Epimedium extract is a popular aphrodisiac supplement and herbal sexual performance enhancer.It has a long history of traditional use in China for the alleviation of erectile dysfunction and for improving libido and fertility.
Also known as Horny Goat Weed, this supplement supposedly got its name after a farmer noticed that his flock of goats were particularly aroused after eating flowers of a specific type. These Epimedium flowers contain icariin, which is a natural compound that increases blood flow to sexual organs and promotes sex drive. Icariin has been found to increase Nitric Oxide synthesis as well as inhibiting the activity of the PDE-5 enzyme
[Icariin in Epimedium Extract]
Epimedium extracts powder contain an active phytochemical called icariin.Icariin has been observed to exhibit a number of useful traits, including renoprotective (liver protecting) hepatoprotective (kidney protecting), cardioprotective (heart protecting) and neuroprotective (brain protecting) effects.
It is also an antioxidant and can cause vasodilation. It exhibits antimicrobial characteristics and is thought to act as an aphrodisiac.
Icariin is classified as a flavonol glycoside, which is a type of flavonoid. Specifically, icariin is the 8-prenyl derivation of kaempferol 3,7-O-diglucoside, a prevalent and important flavonoid.
[Function]
1. Combat mental and physical fatigue;
2. Induce vasodilation and improve circulation;
3. Lower blood pressure in hypertensive patients;
4. Improve symptoms of erectile dysfunction (ED) through its action as a PDE5 inhibitor;
5. Improve the use of free testosterone in the blood;
6. Increase libido;

Nails are made from keratin, a protein found in the skin and hair. Living cells in the fingers make the protein, which is then pushed towards the ends of the fingers where it hardens. Several factors, including age, environmental abuse and disease, can contribute to weak, brittle nails but there are ways to strengthen them using natural methods.
A protein-rich diet is important to maintaining nail health, since our nails are made from it. If you eat meat, eggs, or other protein-rich foods regularly, there’s no need to worry. But if you don’t eat meat, add these vegetarian protein sources to your diet, such as quinoa, beans, and meat substitutes like tofu and seitan.
The B-vitamin Biotin promotes healthy cell growth and helps the body metabolize protein-building amino acids. Swiss researchers found that patients with brittle nails who supplement with 2,500 micrograms of biotin for six months increased their nail thickness 25 percent. Take 300 micrograms of the vitamin four to six times a day. A supplement is the easiest way to get Biotin into your diet. But if you prefer to get your vitamins the natural way, you can find Biotin in foods like swiss chard, eggs, wheat germ, whole grains, and salmon.
Zinc is another nutrient active in helping the immune system function properly, it plays an important role in the formation of your connective tissues. Zinc is a component of hundreds of enzymes in the body, some of which regulate the body’s ability to make new proteins that will become building blocks of healthy nails. Oysters are rich in zinc, as are pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, lamb, beef, and oats.
Keeping your nails on the shorter side will also help. If you’re having trouble with weak nails, consider cutting down the length while you build up their strength. Shorter nails are less prone to breaking. Trim nails to a squarish shape with slightly rounded sides. Just make sure to file down your nails in one direction, and don’t saw them back and forth, which can cause your nails to split and peel.
The cuticle has a very important purpose to serve: It seals the area at the base of the nail. So when you cut or remove the cuticle, it breaks that seal of protection, leaving you vulnerable to bacteria and the possibility of infection. Cutting your cuticles can also lead to nail problems, such as ridges, white spots, or white lines. If you really need to, you can gently push the cuticles back with a wooden orange stick after getting out of the shower, then massage them with a cuticle cream.
Make cuticle oil and nail salve part of your daily routine. You wouldn’t go to sleep without moisturizing your face, so why should your nails be any different? You can use a mix of almond and avocado oils to keep cuticles and nails hydrated while you get some sleep. If you are interested, I have on Etsy a nail strengthener cream made with essential oils.

Protecting the nails from harsh weather, water, and impact can keep them from splitting or breaking. Avoid using your nails as tools. Even something as quick as opening a soda can or scratching off a price tag puts pressure on the weakest part of your nail, the tip, and can contribute to peeling and breakage. Also, refrain from biting your nails.
Wear gloves when submerging hands in water for extended periods, like while doing dishes. Water can actually weaken nails. Frequent exposure to water can encourage bacterial growth, which can weaken and damage nails.
The one thing that every expert agrees on: Once you hit on the combination that works for you, you’ll be rewarded with stronger, healthy nails.

What is Propolis ? Antiseptic properties. Antibiotic, antibacterial, antifungal & antiviral. Medicinal marvel from the beehive. Reported Research shows it offers antiseptic, antibiotic, antibacterial, antifungal, and even antiviral properties. Propolis is Nature’s premiere preventive.
https://www.durhamsbeefarm.com/index.php/bee-products/honeybee-propolis.html
It is so powerful in action, it is often called Russian penicillin. Propolis is a very sticky substance the consistency of bubble gum from dark to very dark in color. Honey Bees collect resin from certain trees and plants (mostly conifers) to make Propolis. Old beekeepers like me call it bee glue. The bees carry it home like they carry pollen back to the hive but you probably have not read that before. If you consume pollen, you probably have never been told there is Propolis in pollen. It is like gold in a silver mine. You probably have been told, those hard granules in the pollen are due to the pollen having been dried. A lot of those granules could be Propolis. Propolis is hard as steel when it is cool or cold and very very sticky when it is warm. Most people in the states have not even heard the word Propolis let alone know what it is. It is a wonderful product. Spell check in your computer doesn’t even have the word Propolis.
The term “propolis” comes from two Greek words: “pro,” which means “before,” and “polis,” which means “city.” This ancient term came into being centuries ago when some early Greek student of Nature established the fact that honeybees made and used propolis.
Chemically speaking, propolis is a very complex mixture. Its chemical elements vary according to its source. Colors range from golden brown to brownish green to reddish brown to blackish brown. A broad analysis reveals approximately 55 percent resinous compounds and balsam, 30 percent beeswax, 10 percent ethereal and aromatic oils, and 5 percent bee pollen. Many flavonols contribute to propolis. Other components include cinnamic acid, cinnamyl alcohol, vanillin, caffeic acid, tetochrysin, isalpinin, pinocembrin, chrysin, galangin, and ferulic acid.
