Introduction:

In ancient times, garlic was used as a remedy for intestinal disorders, flatulence, worms, respiratory infections, skin diseases, wounds, symptoms of aging, and many other ailments. LASAGNA
2.5lbs ground beef
1/4 cup onion (chopped fine)
2 tabelspoons minced garlic
2 x 28oz cans crushed tomatoes
1 x 6oz can tomato paste
3/4 cup water (mixed with the tomato paste)
1 tablespoon oregano (+ more for sauce, if desired)
1 teaspoon rosemary (+ more for sauce, if desired)
2 teaspoons basil (+ more for sauce, if desired)
1 teaspoon thyme (+ more for sauce, if desired)
1 box lasagna noodles (oven ready is a huge time saver)
1.5 – 2lbs shredded colby jack cheese (just depends how cheesy you want it)

1 package taco seasoning
1 cup water
1 box instant wild rice (making a pilaf doesn’t work the same)
burrito size tortillas
shredded cheese for assembling burritos

CHICKEN LEG QUARTERS AND VEGGIES

3lbs (or more depending on the size of your family) chicken leg quarters
4-5 cubed potatoes
1 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
2 teaspoons basil
1 crushed bay leaf
1/2 teaspoon marjoram
2 teaspoons thyme
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons rosemary
1/4 teaspoon dried mustard
1/4 teaspoon cumin
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 cup broccoli
2 carrots, peeled and chopped

PEROGIES

Filling:
7 potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/3 cup onion, chopped
3/4 cup shredded colby jack cheese
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)

Dough:
3 cups all purpose flour
1 egg
3/4 cup water (usually a little less than this actually)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil (more like 4+)

Final Prep:
1/2 lb bacon, cooked, cooled and chopped into small pieces
1/2 onion, chopped
1 cup shredded colby jack cheese
lots of butter
