[What is green tea extract]

Green tea is the second largest beverage demanded by consumers worldwide. Used in China and India for its medicinal effects. There are several compounds extracted from green tea including catechins which contain an enormous amount of hydroxyphenols that are easily oxidized, congregated and contracted, which explains its good anti-oxidation effect. Its anti-oxidation effect is 25-100 times as strong as those of vitamin C and E.

It is widely used in medicines, agriculture, and chemical and food industries. This extract prevents cardio-vascular disease, lowers the risk of cancer, and decreases blood sugar and blood pressure, as well as viruses. In the food industry, the anti-oxidation agent used for preserving food and cooking oils.

1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine or butter, softened
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup canned pumpkin
1 egg
2 1/3 cups Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup pumpkin seeds or chopped pecans

Heat oven to 350º. Mix brown sugar, margarine and shortening in large bowl. Stir in pumpkin and egg. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Stir in pumpkin seeds.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet; flatten slightly.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until almost no indentation remains when touched in center. Remove from cookie sheet. Cool completely on wire rack.

I used Splenda brown sugar blend. I think that it definitely affected the way these cookies came out. They are GOOD, but they are NOT crunchy. I may try these again using (real) brown sugar and see how they are.

* 2 boneless, skinless chicken breast
* 1 tablespoon of cooking oil
* ½ teaspoon salt
* ½ teaspoon pepper
* 1/2 teaspoon of fajita seasoning ( onion powder, garlic powder, chili power etc. have fun!!)
* 1 Tablespoon of Black Bean Sauce
* 2 Tablespoons of corn starch
* water
* 1/2 teaspoon of soy sauce
* 8 ounces frozen chopped broccoli
* 1/2 cup of white rice

1. Heat a frypan/ wok with cooking oil
2. Season chicken and put on the hot frypan
3. Begin to cook your white rice
4. Cook chicken for 5 minutes then flip for another 5
5. Add the chopped broccoli
6. Add gravy
7. Let cook for 3-5 minutes
8. Mix and add Soy Sauce
9. Put on cooked white rice
10. ENJOY!

Gravy:
1. In a cup, add Black Bean Sauce
2. Add half cup of water
3. Add cornstarch
4. Mix!
