Product description:

Flaxseed extract is a kind of plant ligan most notably found in flaxseed. Secoisolariciresinol diglycoside, or SDG is existed as its main bioactive components. SDG is classified as a phytoestrogen since it is a plant-derived, nonsteroid compound that possesses estrogen-like activity. Flaxseed extract  SDG has weak estrogenic activity, when intake as food it will be trasfer to flax ligan which have same structure with estrogens.The level of SDG in flaxseed typically varies between 0.6% and 1.8%. Flaxseed extract powder SDG can reduce the blood lipid, cholesterin and triglyceride, it can also prevent for apoplexy, hyperension, blood clots, arteriosclerosis and arrhythmia. TIL-GUD POLI RECIPE:

INGREDIENTS:
FOR THE DOUGH:
1 cup Wheat Flour
1/2 All Purpose Flour/Maida
Salt To Taste
Water As Required
Pure Ghee/Sajuk Tup

FOR STUFFING:
1/2 cup Sesame seeds/Til
1/3 cup Peanuts
1/3 cup Jaggery/Gud OR Sugar
1 tbsp Milk
1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder/Elaichi Powder
Pinch Of Nutmeg Powder/Jaiphal Powder

METHOD:
1. For the dough,take wheat flour and maida in a bowl.
Take it out 1/4 cup wheat flour for dusting
2. Add salt to taste and 1 tbsp ghee in a bowl.
3. Mix it well and add water in small quantities
Knead soft dough like chapati dough
4. Dough is ready.Covrer with plate and keep it aside for 10-15 minutes
5. Turn on flame and roast sesame seeds in a pan for 2-3 minutes on low flame.Transfer in a bowl
6. Roast peanuts in the same pan
Turn off flame and transfer peanuts in the same bowl
7. After 5 miutes,take sesame seeds(til) and peanuts in a mixer jar
Add jaggery,cardamom powder and nutmeg powder in the same jar
8. Grind it well and take out in a bowl
9. Add 1/2 tbsp milk in a bowl and mix it well
Make a dough and keep it aside
10.Divide dough into small round shape ball
11.Also divide stuffing into round shape ball
12.Turn on flame and place the tava on it on low flame
13.Take a round shaped dough on rolling board
Roll it out into a puri.
14.Put one ball of stuffing in the center of it
15.Wrap and seal it by lifting all sides
Remove extra dough and give it a round shape
16.Press it on the palm. Roll it on rolling board with dust using roilling pin and place it on hot tava
17.Cook poli over low-medium flame from both sides
18.Spread ghee with the help of spoon on both sides
Cook poli for 30-40 seconds
19.Poli is ready and transfer into a plate
20.Prepare rest of polis with the same method
21.Til-Gud Poli are ready and transfer them in a plate
