[What is Citrus Aurantium]

Citrus aurantium L, belonging to the family Rutaceae, is widely distributed in China. Zhishi, the Chinese traditional name for Citrus aurantium, has long been a folk medicine in traditional Chinese medicine (TCMto improve indigestion and help stimulate the Qi (energy force).

1. Have the function of antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, hypolipidemic, vasoprotective and anticarcinogenic and cholesterol lowering actions.

2. Have the function of inhibiting following enzymes: Phospholipase A2, lipoxygenase, HMG-CoA reductase and cyclo-oxygenase.

3. Have the function of improving the health of capillaries by reducing the capillary permeability.

4. Have the function of reducing hay fever and other allergic conditions by inhibiting the release of histamine from mast cells. The possible activity of hesperidin could be explained by the inhibition of polyamine synthesis. (bitter orange extract)

TMI Warning… (Possibly)
The Non-GMO Spirulina Tablets is helping me with my indigestion issues. I have helibactor pylori and a few of the symptoms are belching, after eating, stomach discomfort and difficulty eliminating waste. To cure h. pylori, as is it often referred to, I would have to take 3 antibiotics/antifungal combination. I am allergic to the main antibiotic – Penicillin – that is used to treat h. pylori. Other treatments has not been successful at eradicating it. I am not claiming that this is eradicating the bacteria of h. pylori (for that to be claimed – I would need to go to the MD for retesting). After three weeks of taking only 3 tablets every morning, I AM saying that the symptoms have been reduce. I am able to use the bathroom at least once a day, in the morning, with less effort. It has also been more of the consistency that stool should be. The color is a little darker because of the tablets being green. I have seen a reduction in the belching after eating a meal and stomach discomfort. I have done much reading about this bacteria for the past two years. Much of the science points to me being a vegetarian as the reason I have this. As a non meat eater I produce less of the stomach acid that normally keeps this bacteria at bay. When the opportunity arose to get this I wanted to know if this will help clear out my intestines in a more natural way. In doing so, as far as I can tell, I have had an increase in energy. A cleaner colon usually increases my energy. I would recommend this to people who are feeling sluggish. I have told my friend who has had a gastric bypass to give this a try after how I have been feeling lately after trying this.
