[What is Andrographis?]

Andrographis paniculata is a bitter tasting annual plant, referred to as the “King of Bitters.” It has white-purple flowers and it is native to Asia and India where it has been valued for centuries for its numerous medicinal benefits. Over the past decade, andrographis has become popular in America where it is often used alone and in combination with other herbs for a variety of health purposes.

According to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, the active ingredient in andrographis is andrographolides. Dosage and Precautions

Over de bestanddelen
Valkruid (Arnica montana) Is een zeer heilzame plant. Arnica bevat de stoffen helenaline en dyhydrohelenaline (sesquiterpenen) deze helpen ter bescherming van gezonde cellen. Dosering
- Optimale dosering is 2-3x daags toedienen.
- Indien dit niet mogelijk is volstaat 1x per dag of 1x per 2 dagen. Geef dan de maximale dagdosering.
- Hond: 10-15 druppels.
- Kat: 5-10 druppels.
- 20 druppels is circa 1ml.
Toediening
Voor oraal gebruik. Geef dit product met een plastic spuitje rechtstreeks in de mond of bek, eventueel verdund met een beetje water.
Bij voorkeur niet tegelijkertijd met een maaltijd omdat het product beter werkt als het wordt opgenomen door het schone mondslijmvlies.
Indien een dier het product niet lekker vindt, kunnen de druppels op een klein stukje lekkers worden gegeven.
Indien de kat de druppels niet accepteert, kunnen de druppels worden aangebracht op de bovenkant van het pootje. Controleer wel of de kat de druppels van het pootje aflikt.
Zorg voor rustige gelijkmatige beweging, vermijd snelstoppen zoals bij spelen. Ook het gebruik van een halsband moet worden vermeden.
Behandelingsduur
In een acute situatie is de duur van de behandeling relatief kort. Dit kan variëren van enkele dagen tot 3 weken. Ga bij verbetering nog enige dagen door met toediening van dit product.
Bij langdurig ongemak is het effect meestal zichtbaar na 1 tot 3 weken. Bij verbetering kan overgegaan worden op een onderhoudsdosering. Dit is meestal de helft van de aangegeven dosering op de verpakking. Kijk bij het doseren van dit product goed naar de reactie van het dier. In het begin kan een hogere dosering nodig zijn, dit product kan veilig in een dubbele dosering gegeven worden. Verlaag de dosering geleidelijk tot een zo laag mogelijke dosering. Dit product kan blijvend worden gegeven.Het is raadzaam om na iedere 6 tot 8 weken een stopweek in te lassen. Zodoende kan na de stopweek de prikkel opnieuw worden aangeboden. Hervat de behandeling direct indien daartoe aanleiding is.
Bewaaradvies
Vermijd direct zonlicht en bewaar dit product droog en bij een temperatuur tussen 5-20 C. Buiten bereik van kinderen houden. De houdbaarheidsdatum staat vermeld op het etiket en het doosje.
Synergie en combinaties met andere producten
