[What is Curcuma Longa?]

Turmeric is an herbaceous plant known scientifically as Curcuma longa. It belongs to the Zingiberaceae family, which includes ginger. Tumeric has rhizomes rather than true roots, which are the primary source of commercial value for this plant. Tumeric originates from southwest India, where it has been a stable of Siddha medicine for thousands of years. It is also a common spice in Indian cuisine and is often used as flavoring for Asian mustards.

In this video I show you how to make your own homemade green tea clay mask which exfoliates and brightens your skin, fights, prevents and reduces spots / acne, it also draws out oil from the pores. Shine be gone!

This mask made my face feel so smooth and soft, it brightened my skin, removed the shine from my oil prone areas and I honestly looked more awake.

I normally do this twice a week and I tend to leave it on for 20 to 30 minutes. In this video I put way too much on my face and left it on for an hour… It was so tight but my skin felt great after!

I should’ve used an non-metal spoon to mix the bentonite clay powder also.

This recipe is enough for two applications:

1tsp Bentonite Clay
1tsp Calamine powder:
1tsp Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder
3-4 tsp water – depending on viscosity preference (can also use apple cider vinegar)
1-2 drops of tea tree essential oil
2-3 drops of grapefruit essential oil

You can cover this with cling film and leave it in the fridge for up to a week. If it gets dry, mix with a little warm water and you’re good to go!
