A finger sized ginger root
2 shallots
6 cups (1.5 liters) of water
1 tsp of chili powder and for decoration (optional)
1 TBSP of cinnamon
2 tsp of white sugar
Salt
Pepper
A handful of pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and pine nuts (optional)
